Reyn is a female Dekn mentioned in the Arknverse blog The Writings of Raziel. She is the Dekn of Temptation and the sister of Arie'exel.

History

Reyn and her brother worked as a team, spreading misery and discord amongst the humans of Earth. While Arix would fuel the hatred of men and cause conflict, Reyn would use her feminine wiles to seduce men and manipulate them into turning on one another. She often took the shape of a woman her target secretly lusted after, including their own relatives and the wives of others. She and Arix enjoyed seeing the pain in the eyes of humans when faced with their own personal flaws and failures.

The partnership between Reyn and her brother ended during a mission from the Dekn Emperor, Hash'bor'kanibal. The duo been instructed to wipe out a family in a small settlement on the eastern coast of France, in order to prevent the birth of a special child who would be an "abomination of all races in existence". Their plan was to create a conflict that would lead to an act of arson, destroying the family before the child could be born.

Once the pair arrived at the house, Reyn took the form of the family patriarch's sister, dressed in a sheer white cloth. She seduced the man, and the two of them had sex while Arix scouted out the house. However, the man's performance in bed turned out to be unsatisfactory, and Reyn killed him prematurely.

Upon leaving the scene of the carnage, Reyn discovered that the child in question had already been born – and that her brother intended to save it. Reyn ordered Arix to give her the baby; he refused and fled, spilling a trail of lamp oil and setting fire to it as he escaped. Rent was badly burned, the flames leaving her scarred down to the bone. She spent the next 50 years leading the hunt for her brother, who was now a fugitive from the Dekn Empire. What became of Reyn is unknown. However, Raziel's journal hints that she eventually caught up with Arix and visited a terrible fate upon him while he was living with Raziel on Earth.
