The Law
The Broken Mirror Effect is the law that states that if one’s guardian, whether it be Arkn or Dekn, is to come into contact with an alternate version of their protectee while inhabiting their vessel, the guardian, while still inside of their vessel, will be forcefully transformed into a deranged creature of incomprehensible horror while the original host of the vessel that they inhabited’s conscious slowly dies away and leaves the guardian in its new and monstrous form. This can only be reversed by sacrificing the exact alternate version of their protectee which they had come into contact with. This often causes a dilemma, however, because after the effect goes into work the alternate protectee is logged into a random timeline, possibly one outside of The Timeless Narrative entirely.
